If you played Dark Messiah with the visual settings set to the minimum, the image on the left looks familiar. On the right is what you missed during those 10+ hours of gameplay. I share your pain. Thanks 3D Guru.

the comparison is real ! I played it on my 7900GT and the game looked SUPERB. To think that the critics only gave the graphics a 2 or 3 ... idiots

lol, nice comparison. Actually the biggest difference in visuals I noticed was turning lower the model details - at lowest settings most of the character eyes start to glow - really spooky when wandering in a dungeon and a crazy looking Leanna is behind.

it sure makes a difference, but on the lower end cards, every card really, it's the frames that make it, not the prettiness
