HoF Dwarves Spell Combo?

Ok we know that Destructive is the bread and butter magic for Dwarves. With Ignite and (possibly) mana burst it is dangerous. Now my question is concerning the Summons Skill. Does Ignite work on ALL fire spells or just destruction fire spells?

For instance, if Dwarves got Expert Summons to go along with Destructive, would Ignite work with fire wall (it stays in place AND causes extra damage 2 round and on?). If so what about the Pheonix's Fireshield? Fire elementals? Is this even worth considering?

Hmm 3 spells that have fire related damage and 1 in Summons...what gives?

Ignite ifluences only those spells cast by the hero.

So not creatures? Ok :). I was asking would Ignite work if the dwarf with Ignite cast Firewall also :).

well, considering that it would be difficult to get firewall.. summoning magic not being one of the primary magic factions for dwarves and all, I never even thought to try it.

however, i do notice that fire elementals that the hero is controlling do not get bonus fire damage from their attacks or from the fireshield.

I suspect ignite only applies to the 3 fire spells for the destructive school.

I find it a very useful skill, as you both do extra damage and reduce defense.

Dwarves are the ONLY faction where I am always hoping for armageddon as a level 5 spell.

Considering that master of fire doesnt work with firewall,why would ignite work with it?

Because the only spells Master of Fire mentions in its description are Fire Ball and Armageddon, but Ignite says it affects fire based spells cast by the hero.

Ignite wont work when being casted by creatures, but it works (so as master of fire) when being casted by the hero.
