Problems with Heroes and My new Computer

Unread postby BlackLotus » 01 Oct 2006, 07:37

I just bought a new computer equipped with a Athlon 64 FX processor and my Nividia PNY 7600GT Video Card. When I use the map editor, it keeps hanging up as if my computer were about to crash. By just moving an object from the menu into the map area causes my computer to freeze up for about 5 to 10 seconds. Is this a problem with the duel core processor or my Video Card? The Video Card just came on the market only a few months ago, it could be the problem.

If someone could answer my question, I'd be grateful.

Thanks, The Black Evil One.......

I have a Sony VAIO with a dual core processor and have no trouble. How much RAM do you have?

One Gigabyte of Ram, The Video Card is PCI Express. I have the feeling it's the Video card.

Thanks

I also have 1 Gig of ram so maybe you are right.

My card is a Radeon X800 XL PCI Express.
