Most pleasing for me is HommIII. version of this SpiredTown. ;)

H5 of course, the pther looks rough and boring in comparison. The new one not only looks great thanks to 3D but it also have a great, fresh atmosphere. Welcome to sky city homm style, tibanna gas stored at the golem factory I guess :-D

Indeed, given the altitude, H5 version should be a good choice for sunbathing.

Vote H5. Floating wizard cities is a MM classic as well. H3 is- as usual- very good, but h2 is a bit too dusty for my tastes. H4 is the usual collection of stuff placed at random.

I love the look and feel of H2, so I'll go with that. It felt amazing to eventually build that Cloud Castle. I don't get that feeling from the rest, but they still all look pretty nice..

Even match between H3, H4 and H5. (Voted H3 though).

Always very good-looking cities.

Heroes III gets my vote. Lovely architecture and interesting scenery topped off with a whopping great tower. Heroes V is good, but lacks scenery.

While I must admit the H5 Academy is absolutely stunning (now there's a real magical city... it floats!), I really liked the Tower more [insert what Genesis said here]. I think the cold mountain air is better for study than the scorching desert sun...

in h2 and h4 it was desert too.i mean genies in ice? that doesnt fit. which brings me to another great thing: genie hiring bottles into homm5!

In H4 the Academy is associated with Snow terrain. And I see nothing wrong with genies inhabiting snowy places. They're in the sand in "real world", but this is fantasy and a little variation doesn't hurt. Plus, they're blue, and blue goes better with white than with yellow and orange :-D

h4 in ice style? it has those strange towers that look like some minarets or some byzantine stuff so its more like desert i think.

and titans? mediterranean - thats also quite hot there.

Notice the smiley :-D
Thinking of Tutankhamon's mask, I agree that gold looks good with blue in that situation, but sand isn't gold coloured and genies don't have that intense blue colour.

Edit in reply to 2nd post: Umm... yeah, Heroes 4 in ice and snow. Check the picture in the first post :|
