By the 3rd map no-less. I trudge through the entire Wizard campaign and was one level short of getting the ultimate. Didn't even bother with the others.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Wow, and it only takes about 30 levels and a meticulous skill setup. I finish 90% of my games without getting that high :-/

I did that too! :)

Btw, Urgash's Call is very powerful. With swarming gate and swift gating, it's a nice boost to Inferno.
I believe in science and that science can explain everything.
Because God has made it all work in such a beautiful way...

Actually, that's the fourth map. :) I can't tell you how much I was biting my nails for fear that it'd give me a choice between Magic Resistance and Resourcefulness instead of Dead Man's curse the level before. :S

remember, that in patch 1.1 they said that it had been impossible to take it...

well, you didn't need to worry- in general, if you canhave a special skill, it'll be offered instead of resourcefullness or soldiers luck

I got Urgash's Call and Arcane Omniscience in the campaigns. I'm positive I got Howl of Terror too but it didnt show up in my spell book after I'm sure I selected it.

Congratulations on that one!I screwd up in the very begining by taking tactics(although it helped a lot in the fifth map agains all those ranged units).

That's likely because I took Hellfire, which isn't essential. I took it just to make sure it wouldn't crowd out other skill choices when the time came.

Yes, I don't have had Hellfire. I was lucky enough always to have desired skill/ability to choose. And then Urgash Call appeared on the last "?" field, not on the "!" field.

HEY!!! I just tried to get arcane omniscience and was on the path perfectly!!! All I needed was erratic mana then I was in! Well...I NEVER got a level up that allowed me to get erratic mana, I even had counterspell already.



I then, just to see if it would ever show up, cheated and gave myself levels up until it would give me no more abilities. IT NEVER SHOWED UP!!!



Anyone have an explanation?

OOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGG!!!!



MY STUPID HERO has mana regen to start which replaced the ONE level I needed to get the ultimate. HE'S DOOMED FROM THE START TO EVEN GET IT!!! So...freaking....stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
