Question regarding MM7 Chinese graphic MOD

Hi all,

Last night I installed the MM7 Chinese graphic MOD,

Though they've done a marvellous job, a lot of the reskins feel a little misplaced, for example, a lot of the weapons have been replaced with Chinese versions. Is there a way for me to edit this mod so that I can pick and choose what textures to keep? If so, could someone kindly explain how it's possible/done? Sorry I'm a complete noob to modding Might and Magic games, so I've no idea where to start.
