Dark Messiah: Brawl, Blood and Boob

E3 is under way in Los Angeles and Dark Messiah didn't take long to get noticed. Several new screenshots of the action game have been shared with gaming publications. You can head to Voodoo Extreme to see them.

Meanwhile, GameSpy was allowed to see the game during the pre-show, and today they posted their impressions. They talk about the fluid combat, the various modes of interaction and how stealth can be used to get out of trouble... or to cause trouble. Will Dark Messiah generate enough hype to become one of the stars of this year's show? We should get an answer in a few days.

I certainly hope so! Might and Magic has always been my ultimate game even over the HOMM series.

Agreed, I do not like first person shooters, but hopefully success of this title will embolden UBI to invest and produce a MM 10. The MM series is my favorite of the Might and Magic games. It would also give them a virtual monopoly in turn based fantasy RPG world.

There's a cinematic trailer on the official site (ftp://ftp.ubi.com/emea/Dark_Messiah/vid ... railer.zip). And the game is at #200 on the GameSpy E3 ranking, next to SiN and Warhammer Online, which is not bad at all.

I'm sure in Germany this game will either get heavily censored - or indexed and forbidden completely. Which I think would be good.

lol well me being a longtime hardcore Rune fan ( An action game where you can cut off your opponents head and then beath him to deat with it when he respawns) this game is looking awesome.

Wow, I'm really looking forward to buy this game.

I really loved Half-Life2 and combining the Source engine with M&M elements might result in a great game.
