Voting for Vampires!

No, this isn't a petition to get more 'Twilight' books printed (shudder), it's a story about <i>you</i> being able to vote for <i>your</i> favoured H7 Vampire design. By going to the <a target="_blank" href="/https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/blog/post/view/ ... gn">Shadow Council website</a>, you will be able to vote for your favourite of three possible designs: The Vampire Knight, The Night Lady or The Blood Monster.



Two possible innovations here; there is a sword-less alternative, so Limbic may bring back the melee monster we know from earlier incarnations of the series, and there is also the possibility of the vampire being of the <i>female</i> persuation.



The fans have been screaming their proverbial heads off, complaining that the Vampire design <a href="/https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/blog/post/view/ ... 2-3">shown earlier</a> was both silly and merely a re-hash of assets from <i>Heroes VI</i>. Taking the "advice" to heart, the Devs <a href="/https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/blog/post/view/ ... m">said</a> they would see if it was possible to change the designs. They did, and apparently it was, so the fans should be happy to see their hard work (shouting at devs is such a strain on the throat, we know) pay off. Finally, then, you can all vote for your favoured design and get something proper into the coming <i>Heroes VII</i> game.

Someone named Minastir already tweaked the current sketch of the Blood Monster. Hopefully we won't have to drive ourselves insane again in order to make them loose the long hair lol, but a majority has to fully agree for that first lmao

The thing with the Mummy is that it makes a great Mummy lol, while this is a vote for what we think makes a great Lich.
He's also too spiky for my taste, and why would he need to "hide his desiccated face behind a mask", is he ashamed not being pretty enough for the beautiful world of Ashan® or something?

Anyway, each model already is a hundred times better than the meth-head uncle fester-wannabe they were initially planning to give us, so thumbs up for that.

I go for the Undead Sorcerer for reasons which seems obvious to me.

I'm not sure of what I think of this concept. I always find strange a monstrosity with sense of glamour or high standards in clothing or architecture.

When I read some people forcing others to vote on their decision because it fit the lore better, I felt a dismay which I cannot clearly measure with - feelings or anything I can think of. Of course, it is logical - it just doesn't reach me.

Really, why are you giving your vote to Ashan then?
Ashan is more than just setting and story-telling, it influences visuals too.

In Enroth for example, Lich is skeletal. However in Ashan, he's a Mummy. If you hate Ubisoft for what they've done to this franchise, you should vote #2.

Was he a mummy in H6? I only recall lich of H5, which was also skeletal. I actually think the second option also ok, although I prefer the third - would enjoy not seeing that staff there though. All of them have spikes, which is clearly there to stay.

I totally understand your point, but I am not the one coming up with those stupid name. The design of the suggested creature is leaps and bounds above the other two. And it also looks more Lich.

With the mummy design, for once I'm actually glad to be a lich. Though I will certainly miss being the Ballistae Repair Man.

Behemoth should look more gargantuan, but at least the beast is back.
