I definitely don't like the swordbearer. Everything about him feels... hm, doesn't feel actually. He feels like a brute, something from another faction, something like a Stronghold/Fortress hero, like Tazar.

I completely agree, I really don't see the need for 2 champion units in the first place.Panda Tar wrote:I definitely don't like the swordbearer. Also, I don't like the gargolye's design, what's wrong with H3's gargolyes?

They were more accurate in older Heroes games. In fact, given some cultural basis, gargoyles could even be a part of human faction (ditch the wolves, place gargoyles, fire the swordbearer, place a war machine-like unit instead, as in Heroes 4) *glaring menacingly at swordbearer mouthing "I don't like you"*.
Academy is truly feeling like an animated playground, where nothing looks truly alive, only enchanted. Probably they wanted to make it look like everything depends on magic in that faction.

Some fans are never happy. Many request pictures immediately so they can see what's going on, even if it's still a work in progress, while others say they don't want to see anything ...

In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.
At least there's not a third kind, one that wants to see with one eye, while the other is closed.
To me, if the game visuals were akin to Okami's, that'd be nice.

The gameplay would want to be better than the graphics. I know it's only one screenshot but it looks very ordinary.

Argh. Ugly, ugly, ugly. The only nice thing in this screenshot is the back round at the top of the screenshot.
