In fact, there's no much reason to comb the Desert of Doom, unless you want to find Paladin's goods. The points of this event are sparse, and there's very high probability to evade them all.

i dont remember such events, although its been some 6 years since i last played World of Xeen.

I re-played this over a year ago or so, but I don't remember that happening to me. However, that is epic! I laughed pretty hard after reading this LOL!

Yes after years of playing this is the first time. probably because i usually press forward button a lot and i have missed the message.
Of course i started brainstorming, going back to my childhood and remembering breaking stuff because i could not rest because somehow all my food was gone.
And there was minimum to non help on line when i first played Xeen.

I always go and clear out the vulture rocs for easy experience, especially when playing shorthanded (I usually run PalArcRob).
