Poison works on Skeletons?

I wonder if Wyvern Monarch can poison great numbers of Skeletons. Let's say 10 Wyvern Monarch against 650 Skeletons?

2-3 mages with lightning bolt, hit and run. Do it 10 times, skels gone.

If you have a hero with diplomacy then hit & surrender with ranged troops could probably work too?

It's human vs. human duel with all you can bring with your main hero to 2nd month. Random map.

I usually have good success with Ivor, it's kind of draw if i take Deemer. Any alternative? I don't like to play human.

I was contemplating Aenain due to his Distrupting Ray. But Conflux lacks shooting power at the end of first month if i use magic to reduce defense of stacked skeletons.

Well, it seems the simplest answer is, bring in more skeletons u'self. And why not ? U can always use someone like Isra to do it (Necromancy specialist).

If u go for hit & run thing, that might go against AI, but I really doubt it'll work with human player with any competence ( & he/she should, as otherwise there won't be that many skeletons come in to play after all).

Also, in PvP, I doubt u'r opponent will bring only skeletons.
