network problems

network problems

me and my friend are trying to play on diff computers and he can find my game but i cant find his if he creates one.. he tries to join mine but cant cuz when he does it kicks him out and says failure to join waitting for initialization info from host. what does that mean!?!?!?

Hi benza88 and welcome to the round table.

I'm no expert on this matter but make sure you guys have the exact same version of the game. You should both install the latest patch and remove any mods.

what version of windows are you both running?

Can you see files he shares on the network? are you connecting by internet or by LAN?

I'm going to say its an issue with your file and print settings features or your firewall.
