The Lord and the Lady
The Lord and the Lady
Two new Haven heroes have just been revealed to the Might and Magic fans, and to those of you hungering for old heroes returning to action, there's good news ... he's back. The Lord Haart.

A protegee of the House of Stag, Lord Haart showed his mettle from a young age, fighting as Lord Kieran's squire during the Elven Wars when he was only thirteen winters old.
After Lord Kieran's mysterious disappearance, Lord Haart dedicated himself even more fully to the ways of the sword, becoming the youngest Knight to ever walk the entire Duchy. Not to mention one of the bravest…

Lady Eileen first became famous for bringing identical triplets into the world. This miraculous blessing from Elrath was soon defiled as her three sons were captured by mercenaries seeking ransom, and held captive for seven years.
During this period where Emperor Liam himself offered a tremendous reward for the children's return, Eileen turned to Elrath for guidance and became an extremely devout priestess. Upon the return of her children and the beheading of their captors, her sons were far from the gentle Angels that she had once known and were sent to the schools of the inquisitors for a desperate reeducation.
Eileen continues to see them regularly, but she relies more on prayers to Elrath and the education of the church for their upbringing than her personal attention.
Eileen's secret rage at the turn of fate in her life, has given her an extremely pragmatic if not expediant sense of justice.

Why were there no comments allowed in the last post?

Because I wanted the comments in the article, not the news item.

Back you say? They didn't even point out that he is a member of the Haart dynasty! We can't call it "the return of old heroes" when the hero isn't even established as a relative to one of the old heroes.
If this Haart is from the Haart dynasty from NWC games, where did he (or his ancestors) arrived from to Ashan? Most likely from CRON...

Only the name is back. It would make no sense for anyone from a completely different reality to be there.

@XEL II: you're talking of a so-called "Haart Dynasty" but the Lord Haart of MM2 had nothing to do with the one seen in Heroes 1-3. Just like the dwarf Crag Hack of Terra has no relation whatsoever to "Crag the Hack" from MM1, or the human Crag Hack from Heroes 1-4...

...true, so please don't do this because:Marzhin wrote:Inventing facts just for the sake of being right doesn't make you right, you know... :p
Lord Kilburn (from HoMM 1-2 and MM6) and Morglin Jerico Ironfist (from HoMM 1) are related to Lord Kilburn and Lord Ironfist from MM1 in the sense that they are members of the same dynasty. This was made possible by the fact that Morglin Ironfist with the group of his followers (Kilburn among them) travelled through the portal on the border of Ragnar Ironfist's land, which took him to Enroth.Marzhin wrote:@XEL II: you're talking of a so-called "Haart Dynasty" but the Lord Haart of MM2 had nothing to do with the one seen in Heroes 1-3.
There is a way to travel between the Land of CRON and CRON's VARNs, so it is perfectly logical to assume that a member of Haart dynasty was among Morglin's followers, considering that Lord Haart was among Knight heroes (and was actually part of the storyline as shown in HoMM 2) in HoMM 1-2.
Of course, this Lord Haart from Heroes 1-3 may really have nothing to do with Lord Haart from MM2, but there is also a possibility that he is actually from the same dynasty.
Anyway, why not point out in Heroes 6 Haart's bio that he is a relative of Enrothian Lord Haart? Especially in the light of "bringing old heroes back" as you mention in practically every interview.

There's no evidence that Mr. Traitor had anything to do with Lord Ironfist's armies before they came to Enroth. Everybody even conveniently fails to mention that he served with Lord Ironfist in the games following Heroes I.
While it's reasonable to propose that he could've been from VARN 4 and therefore had some kind of relation with Haart Hold way off through the gate, it's still not a fact or anything that can be proven.

Re: The Lord and the Lady
Unlikely, but I'm currently negotiating for the "loincloth" artifact slot, so anything's possible.XEL II wrote:Great, so will we have his Phaser among unique artifacts then?

I like the portrait art of these two
Lady Eileen also has an interesting backstory.

The Lord and the Lady
It's obviously Lord Haart's grandson.

Just so you know, my words: "The Loord Haart is back", stand intact - although I doubt most of you saw the meaning. "The Lord Haart" means "Lord of Haart" as in the realm.
The Lord Burghley was actually named William Cecil, and it is entirely possible that this new Lord Haart is in fact named something else.

Kalah, it says presumably that he's the old Lord Haart:
"...and to those of you hungering for old heroes returning to action, there's good news ... he's back. The Lord Haart."
OK this article just got very confusing!

Indeed.
And there'll be more heroes tomorrow!

He looks nothing like Haart, even if I imagine him without the mustache..
Infiltrator out.
