A Man From The Sea

Unread postby Kalah » 10 Apr 2011, 22:55

Like the lady in Ibsen's play, this Sanctuary hero seems to come from the sea without transportation. Haven's unlikely ally, or deadliest foe?

The jetty is a nice touch, is that the new ship builder or will you have to dock there?

I think it is just the shallow water that makes it crossable. Deep sea will probably still require a ship.
I am back and ready to... ready to... post things.

You can see the sand clearly, I think it's just a walkable part like regular land. A minimap would certainly reveal this but we lack it in this shot..

Does anyone relly think we need piers for the ships?

It's not an RPG, it's a TBS.

it's probably just a visual treat, I doubt you need a dock to get on land

Actually it would be really neat if they implemented 2, or even 3 levels of water depths:

If 2:

- 1st level: passable by all heroes, but with highest movement penalty (or maybe less penalty for Sanctuary)

- 2nd level: passable by Sanctuary heroes only, but with enough penalty to not make it any more interesting than using a boat (other than saving resources)

If 3:

- 1st level: passable for all with highest movement penalty (or maybe less penalty for Sanctuary)

- 2nd level: passable for Sanctuary heroes only, with highest movement penalty though

- 3rd level: not passable by any without a boat.
