Heroes Medley by Paul Romero

Here's a lovely medley of some of the Heroes of Might and Magic classics performed by Paul Romero himself in Pianestival in France on Tuesday July 6th 2010. It includes the Grasslands melody from Heroes II, the Heaven melody from Heroes V and the Academy Theme from Heroes I.

Very nice. I have almost every piece of music ever used in a HoMM game on my iPod still If Paul and Rob do end up doing the music for the 6th installment (which they better!) It would be awesome if they had a lot of little subtle notes from the old music mixed in with the new tracks. (Kinda like they did with the end credits track for Heroes 5=a nod to Sorceress theme from heroes 2).

Besides being an amazing piece, it shows the degree of passion he has for the music in the games...out of all of the things he could've played, he chose Heroes. That says something.

Such a great musician. I'ver heard a lot of good music in games but nothing can compares to some of his themes. H2 has the best soundtrack I've ever listened.

Yes, Heroes 2 has some fantastic music, especially the "Grasslands theme".

Yeah, H3 was in many ways the pinnacle of the series so far, but Homm2 was my favourite. I loved the wizard campaign where you had to get through all the gateways to that artifact before all of the other players did.
