Do you make small customizing edits to your MM7?

The role-playing games (I-X) that started it all and the various spin-offs (including Dark Messiah).

Do you make small customizing edits to your MM7?

For example, here's one I just made:

I switched the damages of Charelle and Gibbet. Charelle is just something done by a pirate king for his wife. Gibbet was done by Mekorig himself for the sheer purpose of ending an entire age [of monsters] and bringing about the age of man.

Yeah, I guess it is possible for someone to get lucky and make a weapon that rivals ancient stuff, but in so many other cases weapons and armor are described as being few of a kind, no longer makeable, or the secrets behind their construction forgotten.

So now Charelle has Gibbet's old stats and Charelle has Gibbet's stats.

Besides, I hate tridents.

I dont edit/change items in the game, i leave them as they are. Its more fun to me cuz you(actully me) will think like this:

WOOT nice item but DAMN its a trident, learn trident then! - Or WOOT nice items but DAMN its a trident lets sell this piece of sh*t (sorry ;| )

But still the edit feels like cheating so i won't do it.

I mean a strong artifact like wallace change into a cheap normal Emerald island Dagger, doesn't make sense to me.....

I do. ;) The only change like this was Elderaxe in MM8. Its real damage didn't match the description. In school I changed one of player portraits to that of my schoolmate. I made all cadres and some sounds, if not all (interviewed him to get the sounds :)). A few (closer to 5) years ago I changed voice of one of female dwarfs to make it sound less annoying. I also changed monsters strength.
My patches: MM6 MM7 MM8. MMExtension. Tools. Also, I love Knytt Stories and Knytt Underground. I'm also known as sergroj.

Yeah, I wasn't talking about switching out the damages to make a cheap dagger super powerful. I meant exchanging the damage of two relics because it seemed like the wrong one was more powerful, and coincidentally the switch suited my personal tastes too.

Tridents are considered to be Spears by the game engine ;)

And I also play MM7 vanilla, since, well, I'm not bored yet and don't see any reasons for me to do that.
