Indeed, you can't swap troops with Garrisons anymore. Heroic just became quite a bit more challenging...

That right. Even though I didn't get to this mission before the 1.2 patch, I am following what is said int he walkthrough yet I can't manage to take units from the garrison. I'm wondering if its because of the patch, or something I'm doing wrong.

It seems that I can't take units from the garrison in the Sylvan Campaign, mission 1. Even when trying to swap with my own units.

Can anyone confirm?

As far as the AI glitch strategy, I've tried it a few times but typically the enemy has sent a fireball/circle of winter my way, killing all those 1-unit stacks...

I know I don't. I used to be subscribed to CGW way back when, but today you can find all of that and then some online. IMO anyways.
