In the Haven and Infernal campaigns I had stacks of 200 or so peasants/imp dying in one or two attacks. Probably that's because your spell power isn't high enough, happened to me all the times.

Finish the campaign and you will find out.

I'm in Wizard 1 now, and the hero is so unbearably lame that I decide to never play the campaign again. I'm waiting for the map editor & new maps currently.

Pit Lord: very powerful, and look cool, especially their animation after they kill an enemy.

Shadow Dragon: ditto.

Ballista: very powerful though underrated units, 1 on 1 (or even 1 vs 5) it can kill any creature in the game.

There are 2 European versions, regular and limited edition. You probably picked the regular one.

Academy - Do you give up too many other skills (e.g., no Logistics and you have to take Summoning Magic) to try and get all spells in the game? Useless, if you reach level 30, and haven't got all the spells that you NEED, then you did something wrong, besides, I would rather go with all spell maste...

Did you delete your Campaign.sav file as well? It contains all the information about your campaign progress, hero level, etc.

Probably your only solution now is to download someone's complete save game, I think someone posted his/her save on this forum a while ago.

It's a known bug, to win this mission, you have to bring Findan and the 2 heroes to the capital, then hire another hero.

Alternatively, you could win by not failing the garrison quest any time (don't let the creatures drop below the limit), though I haven't been able to do it yet.

Lure the enemy heroes to your castle, and defeat him there, you should be able to make short work of him (the moat IS your best friend, as it will entangle your enemy, and continuously damage them), and stack up on Treant, because your hunters and druids will most likely die too fast to be useful. Finally, the wizard's arcane omnipotence is pretty good, but it doesn't really have enough spell schools. You won't have for instance, mass decay, even though you'll have decay at max level. So it probably isn't as good as merely maxing out a spellschool or two... after all you can only cast 1 spel...

Just use your secondary hero to bring the hunters to the dragon, that way they won't desert your army.

You only need to kill the human hero, it's ok to lose to the demon.
