Being a packer fan, I am feeling not so bad about the loss at lambeau 2 weeks ago.... That was one of the most memorable Super Bowls that I have witnessed. The Giants DLine was the real MVP (taking nothing away from Manning who had an excellent game as well)... Was the superbowl party I was at the o...

The Ranger - The Defense
Here is another way (granted on Normal). I didn't develop light magic so, but I did develop summoning magic. I took the first two towns and swung to the East. I then summoned everything that I had in the original town to defeat the first Garrison. I fed back mana to indan during the battle with the ...

the topdown mod http://www.celestialheavens.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2226 here works real well for the underground. My problem with this map was I made a mouse error at the end - I went where I did not intend to and had to replay the whole dang map (autosave is way too slow). Save the game when yo...

I captured all of the above ground except for the final Castle first. The main hero never left that castle. I then proceeded to capture the underground and fulfill secondary obejctives. I used mixed army of Elven/Inferno for the final battle. I absolutely hated this map because of the grahics/camera...

i feel claustraphobic on most maps, because everything is just a path blocked by some creatures, where are the open spaces and little treasure coves with goodies inside..i just feel on most Multiplay maps everywhere is just too cramped :/ overall the quality is ok. I get the same feeling -- predete...

anyone else have problems with radeon 9700pro GPU? I swapped out the 9700pro for the old radeon 9200 that came with the system in 03. Sure enough it works now. What I don't know is if there is an issue with the radeon 9700pro or MY 9700pro. I do have a boosted power supply and the card does have an...

I got a reply, but it was a canned totally useless reply. The reply never recognized the fact the HOMM V runs fine with an ati radeon 9200, but not a radeon 9700pro in the same system with all other components and software exactly the same (a simple video card swap). I knew it was a useless reply wh...

right now i give it a 50. Note that 50 to me is not terrible, but not great either it is so so. half-empty list too many install problems for many people. way too many bugs that people have encountered. not enough maps. maps are too small and the story lines too shallow (so far). magic system in HOM...

I freeze when I get to the initial screen with the various options such as single player/multi-player etc.. I have 2.6 GHZ P4, ATI Radeon 9700Pro, and 3 gb of RAM.
