Sorry to bump this old thread. But ive got something on my mind regarding Grigor. A decade ago i made a couple of maps and uploaded them to a site i cant remember the name of anymore. I also tried uploading on celestial heavens without luck. The maps i made are ofc long gone being that its a decade ...

From what i can gather in the german language preview and other peoples translations it seems that: -initiative battlesystem is going back to homm3 rounds system -we'll see heroes divided in to might and magic again -basic mechanisms for battle,map discovery(inkluding underground), town development ...

So with people being able to dig up hidden maps and stuff from some obscure files, I wonder if maybe there also are some hidden heroes scrambled around in there somewhere.

Now as i have no clue where to look my self and dont wanna mess anything up, maybe someone could do the honors?

When looking at the map that followed with the Deluxe Edition I see 3 towns / countries with no faction accounted for. namely Grimheim and the town of Tor Myrdal, Ranaar and the town of Stonehelm, ...

Interesting read. I noted that when Fabrice was asked if any heroes from earlier games are going to appear he said it was being discussed. And further down, in the answer to my question about fan influence he basically said they have listened to the fans and old heroes will appear. Nice. Hope to see...
