I think warlocks can learn necromancy in heroes 2, but not in heroes 3. The fire magic thing can be easily tested with a magic university, knights can learn it.

Maybe you guys misunderstood him, I think he is not talking about the ultimate skill but the ultimate level of the racial skill.
You can reach that only with the pendant of mastery artifact as I know.

Sorry, but I do not see much point in this sheet... How did town statistics come into picture? Noone said the heroes were played with their own towns. Also the statistics for not used heroes... I think it shows their strength that they are picked so few times. Adding 50 wins and 50 losses for a hero...

yes, you are right.
i was thinking about serpent fly but wrote the wrong name. and i was also wrong about the movement of the hero (just checked it on a map).
