New Maps for 2007

  • Dueblo by veteran mapmaker insatiable is a big Hammers of Fate duel map. Expect four or five hours of gameplay, at hard or heroic. Check out the map's readme for hints and additional information. The database contains a few more maps from insatiable, both for Heroes III and IV.
  • Challenge 3626 by evilp is a very peculiar map, again for the Hammers of Fate expansion. The minimap that shows up in the database is the best I could do because of the weird fog effect on the adventure map (or maybe that was the map editor playing tricks on me!).
  • To End All Hate by finkellll is the first part of a trilogy, with two sequels under testing. This large map, "a battle between good and evil," requires no expansion.
  • Action and Reaction is winterfate's first FFA map for Heroes V. "For many long years, two kingdoms have existed, one above the other, without either kingdom ever realizing it. However, one day scouts were sent through the tunnels and the kingdoms discovered each other. Now, they are at war for the limited resources in this small territory."
  • Jolly Joker sent me his Heroes III Battleground maps, a series inspired by Gwhenwyfar's Battlemaps. Without any exploration, storyline or building, the maps are reminiscent of a middle ages tournament. Read the full description for more information.
