ForumTalk

So, what's goin' on, then?
In the Heroes V forum, talk of the upcoming game has gone from wishes and expectations to news reports. The open beta test is soon upon us, and with that, many more will be able to form an impression from actual gameplay rather than stills and videos. As discussion of the open beta is allowed in the official open-to-the-public forums, info will also filter through to the ones who have not played the game themselves.
In the Heroes I-IV forum, people are back on track, talking about the same schtuff they did around the old table. That is, technical help for old games, help with maps and campaigns, etc. This is definitely the place to go if you have finally given up trying to solve a problem yourself.
We also have a Might & Magic forum, in which members discuss the RPG series (I-IX) of the old days. Granted, things are not as active there as yet... so we'll leave it alone as well.
Where things are really moving, is in the Campfire. Driven on by a few mighty posters (aka. spammers), games and other off-topic talk is abundant, creating a relaxed atmosphere making new members feel welcome. The Round Table isn't a place where you submit your modest suggestions, after which you are immediately slammed by others who have different opinions - it's a place where you can come and chat and play games with your online buddies as well.
You can also discuss the Equilibris mod in the Equilibris forum, the Wake of Gods mod in the WoG forum, or discuss custom maps in the Mapmaking Guild. If you want to know how to make a particular script, how to create a carry-over hero, or even which trees look better together, this would be the place to ask.
Things are happening in the new forum; we'd like to invite you all to come over and make them happen some more. Welcome!
