Ubisoft announced today the new game that was supposed to be unveiled at the German Games Convention later this month. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is a first-person action game powered by Valve's Source engine. The game is being developed by Arkane, the company behind the Arx Fatalis computer role-playing game. The game is scheduled for a Summer 2006 release.

Details are scarce about this project. People on the Internet are hoping the game will have a RPG flavor, but the official announcement labels the game as an action game.
