Celestial Heavens is pleased to announce the launch of our first themed Heroes IV map-making competition. The theme of the contest is 'An American Tale' and scenario maps incorporating the theme, made in any version of the game including the Equilibris expansion pack, will be accepted. Map-makers have just under five months to complete their entries, with submission closing on the 1st of August 2005. Full details of the contest rules and theme can be found on the contest page. Prizes, in the form of Ubisoft games, will be awarded by the panel of four judges - Myself, Wimfrits, Robenhagen and Corribus. Users are also encouraged to rate map entries.

If all goes according to plan, judging should be finished not too long before Heroes V is released so this is something of a final event for interested members of the Heroes IV map-making (and playing!) community before the focus shifts to the new game.
