Archangel Castle, Heroes-Fr and Stéphane Fidanza are taking orders for a French version of the community manual. For 31,50€ (about $40 USD), you get a printed manual in A5 format which looks better than the official game manuals of other games in my library. If you live in France, place your order no later than February 4th (PayPal, wire transfers and checks are accepted).

*** Small Spoiler *** The simulated battles on the adventure maps, such as the siege of Horncrest in C3M5 of the Hammers of Fate, are one of my favorite features of the expansion. I love the fact that, more than ever, the adventure map and the battlefield feel connected.

The Rock of Gibraltar, as shown in Jimmy Hutchinson's The Roman Empire, a simulation of the barbarian invasions of Rome during the end of the Roman Empire. A nice minimap is included.

*** Spoiler *** The Dark Messiah bosses are big, quite big. I must say that the 2Dish critters of Might and Magic IX looked less impressive. Thanks DrunkIrishman.
