The Sanctuary faction can do sieges too, despite being a water faction ...

Nice catapult.

mermaids.jpg

Trying to attack mermaids in their own element is a bit like running at a crocodile in a murky pool.

"Check this out: I got wings, claws, a tail and huuuuge muscles. That'll get the ladies come runnin'..."
"Uh... well, I ... I got water in me head..."
"..."
"And chicks dig freaks, don't they..."
"You win."

More great-looking stairs, on a path guarded by various elementals.

"Raaarhg! I'm gonna kill you, damned snake! I've got a huge army with me!"

"Aw, crap..."

thousandeyes.jpg

An army of orcs besieging their demonic enemies. The town looks like something from a 1970s sci-fi story; "the Town of a Thousand Eyes" ... Spooky.

sanctuary_town_volcano.jpg

If location is everything in real estate, this Sanctuary town would cost a bundle ...

It lies by the foot of a dormant volcano, almost camouflaged by its mountainous surroundings, and with a beautiful waterfall feeding its water supply. A garrisoned gate guards the secluded area.

skeletonmoney.jpg

Here's another thing we remember from way back - a skeleton with some treasure underneath it.

Unlike the Ubi Facebook guy, I actually know what happened here, and it wasn't some robber who killed a dude and neglected to take the gold.

He was no doubt eaten by a wild beast. And gold can't be eaten. Good fortunes for the adventuring traveller ...

These ruins resemble the remains of an ancient civilization ... It's a bit like an Indiana Jones movie, or watching National Geographic exploring an old Inca city.

I have to say ... I like it. I can hardly wait to send my hero running through the woods, up the stairs and down the stairs ...
