I like the fact that the Heroes III mage didn't have gray hair like the typical fantasy wizard. But the Heroes V model was quite innovative as well.

This is the toughest one so far- all of them are quite good, though I prefer the H2 and H3 versions. Vote H2 archmage, but had I been able to vote for four options, I would have.

Voted HV because its not europian,and voted archmage because of the eyes Although all of them are very nice.

Also,Sauron,why is it so hard for you to resize those big HV pictures?

H2 archmage, those robes are pretty awesome... But yeah, this is a pretty tough one..

I don't think this one is a hard choice at all. H2 archmage is really great. The silver robe with crescent design looks perfect. He also has a nice sceptor/staff/wand.

The unupgraded H2 one is the next best, followed by H5 archmage because of the unique arabic style and of course, the eyes. He looks very regal and fancy, but the shoes look kind of silly though.

H3 and H4 both stink for me. They look so frail and the colors are boring.

I also went for the H2 mage, though the H5 archmage is excellent as well. The shoes are a bit out there, but it can hardly be claimed they are out of character.

h2 would look bad in 3d.
as the only person this far i voted h5 non-upg. h5 upg looks like he has make-up from far away. and you watch battle from far away most of the time.

H2 Archmage for me, definately don't like the H3 mage, archmage is alright, the H4 .... hmmm, probably a third after the H2 mage, and im not really into the whole arabic theme of the academy - and really not into the mages from HV

Voted H II archmage. Heroes II graphics were really excellent. I do also like the animations on the H V mage when they are hit.

Hmmm h3 or h5...h3 or h5. This one is a toughy. Like the glowing eyes of H5, but the h3 is classier looking.....in the end went with h3 barely. Still...h6 I would like to see a magess or maybe a female elven mage (have to think what they would call this...). Maybe they could replace some other elven unit (though I would hate to see any of them go, even the dragon.) There I go again, way off topic. All these are great, don't like Hiv version near as good as the others, but still good.

in h5 actually dungeon matriarches are already female elven wizzes.

yeah but pretty much the same thing. They are still great tho. . I mean human/regular elv Magic using females. Or I would even settle for Drow, I mean dark elf, priestess replacing blood furies muhahahaha. And where are the death dancers? Should be lvl 6 units at least, possibly 7th *sighs*...guess I miss D&D a little too much.

I voted H5 Archmage because I think it looks best and the whole Aladdin-theme is very good. Also I very much like the fact that they are strong and have some great spells. Compared to i.e. H4 magis who are only strong in great great numbers this one kicks @$$!

Voted: Heroes II Archmage.

They really look "magely". Something about the Heroes II artwork which really transports me into a fantasy-world state of mind. Besides, I just really like them.
