Yeeees?

I was actually thinking of inviting you guys from the RT to Risør next summer - I know it's some time away, but I think it'd be nice. Those of you living in reasonably close proximity, that is. You know, danes and swedes, basically.

It's been raining daily around here for several weeks now. However, on the evening of August 29th, the winds have changed (yes, I know it sounds awkward, but that's exactly what they did): powerful cold winds coming from the west heralded the end of summer. Ever since then it's been dark, gloomy, chilly and rainy outside. Autumn's here...

Wow Kalah that sounds nice. I've never really been in Norway....I have had one foot there though and then one in Sweden

Yeah, we could do like a weekend-thing, and have a barbeque and everything. Travel the skerries and swim in the ocean and so on. Hey! This shop in town has the biggest ice cream balls in the history of the universe. No kidding. Take a "normal" one and multiply by three, and that's how much ice cream you get.

Of course - me, being a local, know of all the least crowded places. The best time to visit if you like it quiet though is probably outside the season (the so-called "fellesferie" when everybody are on holiday).

Here's a cuople of pics I just took when I was out walking my dog. There's this nice little pond just above the coop building society where we live, and Heiko loves getting his paws wet.
