Voted H4 because H3 has a scythe, which IMO is wrong because scythes are used only by Death (except for this, the H3 variants look good). Also, H4 really looks like something that can torture you for a million years of pain and suffering with a smile!

Why?Some cliches arent that good imo.I prefer death empty handed or with a sword.Scythe was an excelent detail for a devil.

TTs correct.Its not the post count I spam because,its just that I like to reply to everyone and I am here very often.But when people stop posting so oftenly and when its that brief period with my friends not at see,but school and work is still a month away,you can see the decline of my activity here.

"IMO" is the key word in there; read it twice and it should answer your question. And as you said, some clichés aren't good; well for me this is one of those that are good.

Vote H3 devil. For some reason, I like its dress more than the archy's armor.

H4 and H5 aren't recognizable as devils. No options there ...

Indeed. On further thought, it is H3 that claimed that devils are alien beings with strange space suits

Obviously, the later series worked hard to prove it

Actually that's the best. Until now, no one thought of devils as trident-wielding ex-pirates. It's very original. I always love creative thoughts.

I never got why the H4 devils had pitchforks glued to their forearms. As for Heroes V Devils, they seem to have lost the scheming manipulator aspect of the devil and decided to go for 'the Beast' instead.

So my favorite's the Heroes III Devil, closely followed by the Archdevil. I love the way they beckoned at your enemies from across the battlefield and they always look good with a scythe. I like the Devil over the Archdevil because I prefer his horn arrangement, though that armour is rather fetching...

voted H5 archdevil, he dont look like a whimp like the rest are.

The h3 ones have scythes and a roman looking armor, bad bad. H4 looks plain weird, like hes a droid with a devil suit on, DL looks like an efreet.

I think a devil with a scythe is far more imaginative and original than a devil with a toasting fork glued to his arm.

maybe a goat-headed devil would be fun? thats more historical than built-in fork like h4 and doesnt look as an alien on steroids like h5

Eeeh, that wasn't devil originally. The one with scythe is just fine. You may imagine that he has also somewhere hidden sack for prey upon sinners and lower demons.
