Er, Soupnazii's word also ended in -ion, so ionic should have been valid. But I'll play along, if you want it to look different.

I think so, since they have different meanings and are different parts of speech. But it wasn't my word, and I don't really know the intricacies of the rules, having just joined the game, so I won't start a battle royale over it. I just thought it deserved a defense.
