I have multiple computers, including an laptop running Win95 so I can play older games.

Lordy, I miss UNIX.
Reminds me of my old 6 volt Volkswagen. A simple machine that got me where I needed to go and that I could fix if it broke. There was no gas gauge and the battery was under the back seat. But I could set the timing using a flashlight bulb on a wire.
UNIX was a lot like that. A simple, logical system where you could see all the working parts. Now Windows has become a bloated, complicated mess. And the developers go to great length to hide the way it works. If it were not for games, you couldn't pay me to use it.

Mainly lInux Fedora Core 3. But still making experiments..... (qemu for DOS)

The original UNIX wasn't , now, maybe. Some time is always wasted in seeking for right applications but I don't think that my distro is bloated, if you don't install everything on start it will went fine.
