Very interesting. Seems the Orcs will be barbaric (duh!) and their home terrain may be steppes or rough.

yeah, Sylath is Air Dragon. I thought that these sylath worshiper is Academy but since academy don't worship any Dragon God, and they are located in south while Sylath refugees are at east, I have a good feeling they will be a new faction included in expansion with let's say, phoenix as their lvl 7 units since air and bird get along really well

for this release? no, they won't do any more faction. But you may expect more than 1 faction in the expansion(s)

No, you may expect 5 more factions overall (that is in all games inclueding DMoMM and (the probably to be announced) M&M X)

I remember seeing something about an expansion with a large number of towns. Not sure if it was a rumor or a confirmed fact.

No water dragon being worshiped.

No air dragon being worshiped.

No barbarians, though they have been in all games till now.

I think Fabrice said that there will be 5 more sides in the M&M universe, but not all of them will appear for sure in HoMM5! My guess is Fire, Water , Air, Orcs (Might/Stronghold/Barbarian ) and maybe one that worships Order in a non-twisted way.

i also remember hearing about some other potential themes for other towns. somethin like a mechanical one, but in HoMM3, that would have been the wizard one, so...yea.

We all know that Nival said when they were done with H5 expansion, there would be as many creatures in h5 as there was in h3, so we know there will be at least 2 more factions in the expansion.

The only thing I dislike about Academy is that it took the role of Tower which is connected to the snowy landscape. The lack of snow in Heroes V is a big problem! I hope there will be snow in the expansions, for barbarians maybe?
