Well, I had hoped they would do the diagonal movement exactly correct (i.e. 1,4142 moves), but 1,5 won't kill me.
With that said, I don't really like the half-naked Dungeon women. Some time ago, many people were getting sick of the "damsel in distress" stereotype in popular media. Now I'm sick of the whole "pretty much, but not completely, naked Ass-Kicking Babe".

Yeh, arse-kicking babe is a bit old now. I'm sure the fat & ugly, arse-kicking moo-pig has been tried somewhere before. Or maybe, a grotesquely muscular, scantily-clad she-male is called for. Just to break the stereotype.
Like the idea of humungous maps too. Great for single-player & marathon hot-seat games.

Why is it that male characters can take every possible role and act in whatever way, whereas female characters will usually only fit into a few roles and always look like super-models?
Oh, I know the answer as well as anyone else, but as long as the industry is so clearly catering towards the hormone-driven male teenagers, they really shouldn't expect any rise in other portions of their audience.
This wouldn't be so bad if we were talking about some FPS, or MMORPG, which are much more dominated by that demographic than TBS are. If Heroes has to have lots of half-naked chicks, which game doesn't?
Oh and I completely overlooked the bit about transportation spells. I'm curious how they intend to balance them. I still remember the days of Heroes III, where Expert Town Portal and Dimension Door were by far the most important spells you had to get as quickly as possible if you didn't want to lose.
