I don’t believe that the name of the heroes was so important,
but what he/she could do.
I liked Solmyr because he could use the Chain lighting Spell
with increased effect. That spell alone was hard
to get as it was, and when you have it its great fun to use.

In the world of the Dead, its nice to be alive,I think.

I won't have any problems with old heroes not coming back. I believe in Nival making such a deep and amazing new world that there will be enough new heroes to be loved . Of course, there were heroes that lived over several installments that are gone now. And okay, it's no longer "the" HoMM universe it was before... but however I'm okay with that, as long as it's good. I think it will

The choice of square tiles over hexagonal I cannot understand. If Anthriel is correct that would be really bad. Hopefully Nival has a good reason for this decision.
No Old Heroes - I can't see any logical reason to eliminate them all. I'll really miss them. Hopefully Nival can come up with their own characters so far but the art for Heroes I've seen so far looks dreadful.
No Caravans - I like this decision because I didn't find Caravans worked well in Heroes 4. I think the best solution would be allow creatures to walk on the map alone but not be able to pick up anything. Thus not needing to waste money on additional heroes to route troops between towns/heroes but neither being able to exploit the inexpensive movement cost of creatures to pick up additional resources and flag mines.

Yo dudes. I acutally can understand the square tile system! Only! If you can think that the squares are small! Like, not one creature = one tile - but the larger creatures take multiple tiles, that could xtremely kick face. Just my thoughts on the subject - if thats the way it is, it will surely kick face!
"AI parameters and implementation" ... what do they mean by that? I hope they recognize that a mapmaker wishing to fine tune the AI to make a particular map more enjoyable is in no way and indication of distrust in Nival.

hmmm... what shape was h4's grid???
SQUARE, thats what. Good golly, you guys complain endlessly that h5=h3 as if you were the first people to say that, and then you COMPLAIN AGAIN when an H4 feature is included.
No pleasing some people, they should go have a cry, then build a bridge and get over it.
Seriously, it's not like their negative, unconstructive, posts change anyone's mind about anything. I've yet to hear a new clone argument this month, it's all regurgitation.

To Lord_Heart:
Yes, H4 had a square grid. Bit there wasn't much use of it. In H4 you click on a creature and it goes to it even if he needs 5 turns. How I saw in trailers, you must again click on a grid to come somewhere besides creature finding way itself. The level of frustration grows.

I am back and ready to... ready to... post things.

I've still got a problem with the not being able to change AI, that's so boring. I remember Crusards Champions, that was great fun! Not being able, to even set the priorities or something like that, is absurd. I'm not a great programmer or anything, but I would like to be, and it doesn't look like i'll be able to now.
