Well, those kind of maps are not for novices but for confirmed players.

Size of armies is never important, what is important is the artefacts, spells and speed you have. No need to be a genius to beat this map, only an experienced player.

A walkthrough is just a guide to show the the best way. But you can go your own way, of cause it will take more time to finish it.

yes,it's diffrent to combat between 200% difficulty and 100% difficulty for the AI 's diffrence.

usually,we play a game at 200% difficulty,if we fight each other in multiplayer mode,maybe we can use 100% difficulty.

About the enemy,we can use some specific ways to defeat them,not 1000 archangels.Although, we have to S/L some times to get some methods.

Anyway,there are many people can walkthrough the map in China,just master the method .

a tip:
if your heros put your troop like last picture,the enemy will think you can't get his town,so he will not escape.
then you switch the positions of the troops,put the enchanters in the first slot,you can get the enemy.

So,Rick take the armies to capture Tim

and the genie stand in front of Tim's titan so it can't shoot(we call this way 'stop up machine gun')

next day ,Gabriel exchange army with Rick,leave 9 titans to Rick.

why leave 9 titans? because next combat,Rick must defeat the Wyverns King at the Green Garrison,in order to attract the Wyverns King attacking me actively.
