Prime Suspect version 1.0 is currently 80% finished. Give me 16 hours more time and it'll be ready. Then we may begin the final testing phase and race to publish to map here at CH before New year's eve.

Dude, come here and turn around so I can hit you in the back of the head. You're at your gf's place and what you're thinking about is getting home so you can release a campaign?

*ahem* :wall:

There are other things you should be thinking about!! :gong:

I see that Yurian uploaded Prime Suspect 1.0 up on the Archives. So, I was wondering if this map is ready for upload or is it still being tested? And it looks good guys! :D
And Kalah is right. Hop, get your priorities in order! Gf is #1 Map is #15. ;)

"Prime Suspect", as seen on the Map Archives is our first attempt at version 1.0. It has been so far tested once by me, but let me assure you that my map making methods are essentially pre-testing in nature, and have not revealed any major bugs concerning the version that was sent to the Archives. You know me, BB. I'd hate to release second rate work, especially ones that are Team efforts and not my solo projects. Despite all what was said above, I feel that it would be informative to reveal and quote here what I wrote to Max and Koni (concerning the map) earlier today.

"Please note that this is just the first attempt at 1.0 and we should all work ever so diligently to make sure it is bug free and comes with no major typos and grammatical errors. I suggest that me and Koni will do the linguistic part of the deal while you and the rest of us play test the map to the best effort."

As a bottom line: the map is quite playable in its current form, but we can't guarantee that is fully free of typos and mistakes in grammatics.
I suggest that the regular Archives fellas and the non-frequent visitors (members who pop in every now and then to see what's new) enjoy it as an "as is" product 'til we define whether or not it is the final release version. But I do agree with you that it certainly seems pretty finished.

"Prime Suspect" map credits:

HeroOfPunk: Sighisoara world creator, storyline
Koni and the Sighisoara Map Testing Departement* (testing, Koni: also new ideas and commentary)

I'll take that as an "Almost Finished" response. :D

No need to panic yet, Sal. I believe the map Prime Suspect is just the Prequel to the second Campaign. They may have already started making the 2nd Campaign by now, I'm not sure. But do keep in mind, there is more than one person doing this project! Goes a little faster that way. :)

And your new Stargate Atlantis project is from another world, you can't compare it with anything that has ever existed before. A new league of mapmaking!! :hoo:

Yurian you can add mapmaking on me to since I added some graphical details on the last version I sent to you! :) Also I am awaiting the words from you Yurian that I can check the map through one last time before a final release! :) Now who shall fix the small typos that Koni suggested in the latest mail? :)

Indeed, that's what I meant to say but I guess that I just somehow mysteriously failed to express myself clearly with any less words used than that. Lol, it must be another peculiar habit of mine.

Anyways, the good news is that I have just completed (and sent to the Team members) what I call "reformed version of Prime Suspect 1.0", that is v1.0 purged of various typos and bad grammary and reinforced with the vital dose of new and/or modified Time Events. Summa summarum, it should be quite enjoyable. Splendid! And imagine, that is not a bad score if we consider the fact that we have managed to pull off a story driven L sized H3:SoD map in three months. It still amazes me. Really.

OKey I have made quite a few changes and are done checking trough like 40% of the map! It will soon be resent to Yurian and once again evaluated.. This WILL be released before new year if Yurian is on tommorow to check it out a final time and then re-send to me for the final check (again) and then sent into CH-staff :)

I have now sent the third attempt to Yurian :)

Sighisoara.webs.com has been updated, I would also love to have some ideas on what to add on the site! And I am also currently adding some screenshots from the prolouge map on the site so they will be up in 5 minutes :)

Send it directly to me instead, it's quicker. Also tell me exactly what it is and what you want me to do with it, and I might have enough to make a news item as well.
