Well, it seems I have a new title. I would like to thank Kalah and the rest of the CH people for thinking I am capable of such a position. And that I am honored and appreciate this tiitle given. But, I also want people to know that this new title won't go to my head at all, be that good or bad. :) I'm still the same ol' ByteBandit I have always been. Always will be. I still like to consider myself just a regular guy who likes to answer posts dealing with HoMM1 to HoMM4. And once in a while here, on the Campfire.
Hopefully, I will be able to upload New maps when needed now and post News items that are useful as well. These are things where I will change, with more emphasis on uploading maps more than anything.
So I want to thank everyone here, be them Admin, Staff, Mods, and Members from the bottom of my heart. Thank You! :applause:

Wow BB, congrats, I know you'll do us proud.
And icy blue seems to go better with the assassin huh? ;)

I have kept you in the moderator group as well, for the time being at least. If you feel unable to handle both, please let me know.

Hmmm... Does this mean we need another mod, I wonder...?

Thank you everybody.. Your acceptance means more than you know. And, yes, Kalah, I will let you know if it gets to be too much of a hassle. For now, I don't see it being so. I know the appointment of this position is new and I can't wait to see what I will be able to do.
I had some ideas of translating some Foreign language maps we have on the Archives into English and posting them, here on CH.....for one. Some may not have documents, but I can make them up in no time.
I want to get more people to come here, and I think translated maps can be one angle. I have a few other ideas I'm pondering too.
And yes, the light blue does well for the Assassin, Milla. :)

Not only that, but I see the HoMM 2 Archives site is taking off like a rocket. It's more populaar than I first thought. It would be nice if CH could create a place to store H2 maps. Yeah, it's an old game but, man.....people are coming out of the woodwork. Hungry for H2 maps.

Just an hour ago I have "recruited" a new (female) member, who couldn't find any "new" maps to play. Now she has joined the H2 groop and was delighted to find such a huge archive. It was like I was Santa Claus or the Noel Baba to her! :D :proud:

Congratulations ByteBandit :hoo:

Man I've been scarce lately. Finishing up last uni subjects, a bit of work and recently started practicing aikido so I have considerably less time. Missed anything? :)
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Obama's in Oslo, so they've shut down the whole city. Glad I don't live there; rush traffic is already bad enough without closing all the roads. :creative:

I'm not watching any news the rest of the week, it's embarassing to see Obama treated like the second coming of Christ around here.

Agreed... although I'm a bit of a fan, I really dislike seeing otherwise professional journalists and newsreaders behaving like 14 year old girls at a Take That concert. It's embarrassing...
