I don't think that's the part they wanted to "warm" up... :devious:

Tired. Been eating muffins. Need a workout, really, but I can't get out of the couch... I'll have to do some proper training tomorrow to make up for it.

Most of the mainstream scientists believe that "The Sun is expected to become a red giant in approximately five billion years. It is calculated that the Sun will become sufficiently large to engulf the current orbits of the solar system's inner planets, up to Earth, and its radius will expand to a minimum of 200 times its current value", as quoted by me from an article found in wikipedia, and dealing with red giant stars.

Nostradamus, the controversial 16th century court physician of the child King of France, Charles IX, made a famous prediction in the 1550's that the Sun will scorch and devour the Earth in AD 3797. I find his timeline for the destruction of planet Earth to be more likely to take place than the "several billions of years from the present time" scenarios "carefully calculated" by our top scientists.

On a personal level, I do not believe anything we can see, hear or touch in the physical world to be actually able to pull through several billions of years. Is this a scientific argument on my part? No, just a random thought.

Don't worry if things are going badly today. They will be much worse tomorrow.

Not full job, I'm afraid; not making enough cash yet. I'll be getting some extra evening classes after New Year, so I'll see about adding to my DVD/games collection then.

Well, I thought about getting up real early next morning and vacuuming the floor really really good, but decided it was just stooping to their level. So instead I called the landlord and now they're in trouble cause it's not the first time and I'm not the only one who's bothered by it.
Ahhh :D

Leading the charge against the troublemakers? Just watch so you don't get to be seen as one of those little old ladies who complain about the noise all the time. Rock on, ma'am.

Well, I told the landlord not to mention my name. They already know it's me though, I bet.
If not, they're pretty dumb.

Got some praise from the boss today. Said he was proud of me :-D

Sadly no. He's not in a position to give raises, unfortunately :(
But I think it's raise time soon. It's been six months since the last time.
