I was asked whether I wanted to go to Sierra Leone on a school project, in which case I would've had to have a whole battery of shots, including malaria. :| Shame the thing clashed with my PPU course, which I can't skip.

Yeah, I missed the trip to Greece too, but at least that means I'm more or less a sure thing next time around. :)

Don't you just love it when someone else cooks you dinner? Mmm...

It's my only day off this week, and it feels like it's already over

Though daylight savings time kicked in today, so I got an extra hour added to my day...that's a good thing..

Would need a twentysix hours as a minimal ...summer/winter time correction. Should be a law on that, isn't already? :P

(No, I guess that they will first invent tax from the time before they had to come to this.)

My dad and did some fixing on the car again. The problem I had a couple of years ago, when I washed the engine and forgot to cover the distributor cap, resurfaced yesterday when I washed the engine in the pouring rain. I did cover the distributor this time, but somehow during the last year, one of the screws holding it in place had broke. Let me tell you: it's not easy finding a screw in imperial measurements fitting a distributor cap for a 1993 Mazda. Luckily, my dad has everything. We found a screw that could fit and drilled a hole in the distributor, dried the cap completely and put it back in place. Now the car purrs like a kitty once again. :)

Just had my swine flu shot. Didn't feel a thing. Oh, and I found my USB pen; it was in the trousers I washed yesterday. The thing still works, though. There's a bit of a customer review for ya: "Kingston DataTraveler 8Gb - machine washable".

I've got asthma, so I'm technically in the "risk group". And no, actually, they seem to give it to people at a totally random selection down at the local doctor's office. ;|

People sneaking in line? Though you don't know what's wrong with people, anyway.

I'm not in the weak and infirm-category, so couldn't get one even if I wanted to.

Well, they must open up for everyone sooner or later. But I gotta say, horrible handling of this by the government... if this virus was more deadly, like, say Ebola or something, we'd all be genuinely screwed.

If ebola and similar there's not really much to do to prevent screwedness, is there? Except nuking Raccoon City.
