confused on release

I checked ebworld.com and the release is stated as 4/3/06.
I come here and the faq says may/june. I went back to ebworld and looked again and realized that it says "pre release" as 4/3. Can anyone tell me what pre release means and if this is actually coming out 4/3?

I think it means preorder.

There are tons of made-up release dates on the Net. There are references to May on the Ubisoft site, with a notice that the date is subject to change.

It's not a very long delay, especially if you have other games to play until the release. We will all appreciate the extra time that will be spent finishing the game in a couple of weeks.

yeah im glad they are fixing whatever needs to be fixed instead of releasing it. I guess Ill pick up oblivion and see if I can get it to run

Then its cleared up, it says May on UBI site but the date is subject to change, all other dates are misleading and means nothing!

Try rather using To The Game for gamerelease.
Why you ask.
they got the true release of games, I have never seen a game that have the wrong release date on that site
