Game Crash
For some reason the game crashed in any map I'm playing. I play for maybe about 5-10 minutes and then it crashes. I turned off all of the high end effects. I'm thinking maybe its a video card problem?

For some months I played H5 and I haven't faced a problem. Now I have some serious problems. While I'm playing H5, after some minutes the game crashes and the computer turns down automatically (not restart, just turn down). I don't know what to do. The computer I play the game is a laptop Acer Aspire 6930. The system requirements of the game are by far achived by the laptop. The same problems I face while I'm playing the expansions of H5. I want to mention that the problems have arisen only recently (last month). Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game? If it was running fine until recently you might try clearing out any recently installed mods/maps to see if that helps.
Also, try shutting down all programs you don't need while you play HOMM. There is a freeware program called Game Booster that can help you do that. That may help you if the problem is background programs eating up too much memory.

I've just had a conversation with a computer specialist ( a friend of mine) and he explained me that the problem is that the laptop's fans have covered with dust and when I play a 3D game, the temperature increases rapidly and the laptop shuts down to protect the cpu (it turns down to save the processor). He advised me to clear the fans from the dust. I think he has right as the pc turns down only when I play 3D games.
