Seven Years in the Community
I joined the Quill at AW's site back in 1997 if I'm not mistaken, so I've been around nearly 11 years now. You're all noobs.Gaidal Cain wrote:Actually, I first joined the Quill in May 2001, so I've not been active in the community longer than AS. Though I lack any forum experience, except the last couple of months at RT, still I find it a good place to be, with all his annoyance, scoffing, spamming, and selfish remarks as such "I joined the Quill at AW's site back in 1997 if I'm not mistaken, so I've been around nearly 11 years now. You're all noobs.".
It would be good if RT would survive at least the next 7 years (70 is better), just to waste some of my otherwise precious time.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Since I forgot to celebrate my five years of seniority, I thought I could brag a bit for my seven years.
Also, Celestial Heavens will turn 10 next year. A huge celebration will be in order.

Keep up the great work! Here's for seven more years!
I maintain nonetheless that yin-yang dualism can be overcome. With sufficient enlightenment we can give substance to any distinction: mind without body, north without south, pleasure without pain. Remember, enlightenment is a function of willpower, not of physical strength.

It's amazing that CH runs for almost 10 years now. I remember the times at the 3DO forums where I used to post a lot when several guys from CH like Psychobabble or Ghostwriter rarely used to post there and for me it was so hard to understand, why they stick to some CH fansite and not the official, almighty M&M forum. LOL, I was such a noob back then.

I frequented astral wizard's site and was very sorry to see it go. The owner whose name I forget, seems to have kept the domain. I checked last year, I think, when I was feeling some nostalgia.
CH has been a good successor to astral's site!

Well it was not an offer I don't have the time or expertise, but hopefully someone here does.Angelspit wrote:I doubt anyone would be interested.jeff wrote:I certainly want AS to lead the forum for many years to come, but hopefully he has a plan of succession. We don't want any messy breakups.

Congrats, Angelspit, and thanks for running such a great fansite!
CH was the first fansite I really subscribed to, and I still haven't found one quite as good anywhere else. You guys do a great job at covering a great (most of the time ) series.
