It's not like people don't double post all the time here.

Yeah... but the mods only get pissy about it when someone (like me) has already been picking on them about other things. It's kind a like poking the bear in the cage. After a while, they'll get angry at the guy filling food dish.

But it's FUN - and he hasn't been around much lately. No one else allows me to pick on them the way E does. I've been missing my sparring buddy.

Nah. Why should she do that? To improve the poke-damage is what she needs to improve.

Here's good one for StarGate fans... or anyone else for that matter.

http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v376/jen...sandfurries.flv

Its Christopher Judge (Teal'c from Stargate SG1) in a panel at Dragon*Con. For some reason, Micheal Shanks (Daniel) mentions furries, and Chris has never heard of it before. After some "delicate" attempts at explaining (which only confuse him more), Claudia Black (Vala) leans over and whispers in his ear what its all about and he just freaks out.

(If YOU don't know what a "furry" is - PM me.)

Politely, they are people who like to dress up in fur animal suits... like anthropomorphic Japanese or video style art.
See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furry_fandom

What makes "Teal'c" jump and scream is the fact that many of these 'animal suited people' have sex in those costumes... and of those, most are gay. Mind you - NOT ALL of them are that way, but there is a large enough percentage of them who ARE a little -er- odd, that they have been pushed to the lowest rung of the Science Fiction / Fantasy fandom hierarchy. When a bunch of geeks and nerds wearing Spock ears call you 'crazy freak'... you know some thing's wrong.

I remember one of my friends telling me about how he had the pleasure of staying in a hotel hosting FurFest. And he did not have any polite word to describe those in attendance.
