Dungeon Abilities Explained
When the Dungeon alternate upgrades were shown to the community a few weeks ago, what people found the most intriguing were perhaps not their look but their special abilities, including the mysterious invisibility. Today, Acheval provided a detailed description of four Dungeon abilities:
"When it is activated, the unit becomes completely invisible for the enemy until it performs an attack or takes a position in a tile next to an enemy unit. The stack attacked by an invisible stack can not retaliate. An invisible unit can not be the target of any target-specific effect, nor do mass spells work on it (but the area-effect spells and area effects do). (...) Unit movement routes can be plotted through the tile occupied by an invisible unit (...). When the movement is performed, if the invisible unit blocks the way and there is no other way, the moving unit stops right before it and performs a melee attack. For the player/AI who owns it, the invisible unit shows on the screen as semi-transparent. The ability works once per combat. The invisibility effect’s duration is 3 rounds."
All four abilities have been added to the Creature Abilities page.

The abilitiies besides invisiblity are awesome too, especially incinerate.

I don't think Invisibility is bad at all. It's quite good in fact. Now the question remains whether or not it will be possible to cast spells whilst invisible and not deactivate the ability. If so, it'll be excellent for the Mistress. What is annoying is that moving creatures can detect them simply by moving through their tile...

see that was too early comment so much previous threat,i think nival really know what they do.

Incinerate and Invisibility sound good, but Acid Blood will make killing Acidic Hydras near impossible! Now your units get hurt every time they hit them, even if their retaliation is gone. Granted it's only one quarter of their usual attack but every time? Hope their defense is lower...

Incinerate, is it once per battle, or does it leave the dragon vulnerable? Or does it damage so many tiles, it is unsafe to use next to friendly creatures? I mean, there has to be a drawback..

Nice one.
And Incinerate has some drawbacks:
It only affects 1 creature (no fire breath)
It can only be performed if dragon didn't move that turn. (so no picking targets, it will only have none or few available)
But i guess it gives us a winner of any 1v1 between lv7-s

Invis doesn't sound that good at all, lets say I do use it to infilct one non-retal against someone with a stalker. Now what do I have.. a frail unit in the midst of battle just asking to be one-shot by someone (I'm talking about pvp battles).
Infiltrator out.

It's utility will depend on whether the Mistress can cast spells under it or not. If so, it will be a great ability (for her). If not, it's utility is marginal.

Well here is hoping that you wouldn't just charge in with the Stalkers alone, using your invis units to strategically pick off THEIR advancing army, charging with all of your forces so it isn't isolate, or sneaking up on shooters would be more effective.

Eheeem..... Puh! we can easlt realease our breath out for that one, she CAN cast spells without being exposed.
6) Shadow Mistress’s Invisibility works the same way as stalkers, but she can cast spells without being exposed.

Abilities like invisibility always sound great for pvp battles... but against the AI will the unit really be "invisible". By which I mean, will the AI really not know it's there?
