Congratulations to all, especially the winners...well deserved victories indeed!
I didn't get one medal.
But I had lots of fun...this event should be done every year!

Well, I've been kind of busy in RL...and to boot, my computer went bye-bye...
I had to format the computer's hard drive and install XP x64 edition. After that, the modem wouldn't work (no 64bit drivers for it), so my dad installed it on his PC.
That about sums it up.
I'm flattered you ask though .

I can imagine it must have taken hours & hours to come up with some of those contests, especially the "30 Questions" ones and the infamous "Obelisk Treasure Hunt" game.Angelspit wrote:It will be difficult to come up with a full set of games without recycling old contests. And I think Robenhagen will appreciate his break now -- he spent a lot of time on this.
So I for one would like to show my appreciation for Robenhagen and all his efforts to bring us the Round Table Olympics.
He certainly deserves a Gold Medal for that.
H6 coming out? Hmmm, so do you know something that we don't, AS?Angelspit wrote:Maybe we'll do it again between ToE and H6, when things are quiet.

Thanks for the medal and the praising words HP. I must admit that it was an awful lot of work, particularly inserting all those obelisk images (reminder to myself: remove those pesky obelisks).HodgePodge wrote:I can imagine it must have taken hours & hours to come up with some of those contests, especially the "30 Questions" ones and the infamous "Obelisk Treasure Hunt" game.Angelspit wrote:It will be difficult to come up with a full set of games without recycling old contests. All those questions were also kind of a pain, luckily the fellow judges proved their worth (again) and kicked in the needed effort
I think it would be a good idea to run the contest again sometime, but if I have anything to say, it should definately be sometime from now
In a retrospective point of view we did learn that some contests works far better than others - so if we run it again, I think we should replace a couple of the contests with sme brand new ones. I'm pretty sure there won't be any pop quizzes, 'cause I think we've pretty much exhausted our combined pool of knowledge
Thanks to everyone who participated and a big praise for the winners - well done
I was lookin’ back to see if you were lookin’ back at me to see me lookin’ back at you.
