Your Favorite 4th lvl creature

Unread postby Orfinn » 30 Jan 2006, 13:13

Wanted to ressurect the old topic from the old RT. We get new members and fans from time to time pretty quickly so why not?

Anyway...
I gotta stick with the faerie dragon, it has 4 great spells which I use every time depending on the situation ofcourse. And I love playing agains them in the arena with my high lvl hero which has the magic mirror artifac (pain mirrior I think?), GM Magic resistance. Always entertaining to play lightning or fireball tennis with them, betting on how long time it takes to kill all the dragons with just a couple of spells and magic mirror :D

Note! Too few poll options, so I couldnt separate all of the 4th lvl creatures (including TGS, WOW) into 12 poll options.

Have to agree; I love the Mantis.

I like the mantis as well, but since you dont' have that option available I'll go with the angels. Their resurrection ability is very handy.

Hmm... I'm tempted to go with Titans for nostalgias sake (if someone needs convincing, check this out :) ), but I have to agree with Mantises being a very useful creature.

Ah, those were the good old days, weren't they?

The Dragon Golem is fun to play.

I went with Fairy Dragon/Phoenix, since that is pretty much the only case where I like both top level creatures equally.

Btw for tower I almost always go with dragon golemns. They are easier to build, faster, first strike and fits nicely into the alignement I go with.

. . . . . . . . . . . . Image . . . . . . . . . . . .

I'll take this guy:

The Mighty Gargantuan is not only a ranged creature but gets two shots with an area attack. Gargantuans are so ugly, they're cute and I like their roar when they get wounded.

I have to support Mantises, but without them I'm unsure what to pick (very likely, I won't pick the same as I did last time). Vote Thunderbirds - cute creatures.

Without Mantises, my vote got split -- Hydras if you've got the buffs, Black Dragons if you don't. Fortunately, they're the same option. :)

I picked the bone dragons. Come on, they look good since heroes 2, and I like the abilities they have.

However, if there were dark champions, I would definitely vote for 'em.

Perhaps the poll should have been/should be expanded with one entry for EVERY lvl 4 creature?
My vote would go to the Mantis. But as it's not here, I voted Titan. Always loved it.
