I'm not against moving, but i think it should be more limited then what was shown a while back, on a BF with only 1 or 2 free rows (one in front and on each side would work too).
Spells in battle are a must, as dmg spells on the adv map only led to heavy pre-battle nuking... keep the movement/stats affecting ones for the adv map and the dmg only for battle.
They can easily improve the game without turning it into a HoMM clone.
And units without leaders would work fine, they already had that with map summons, and the Exp gain would still be there, not to mention that i wouldn't have to retreat all the other creatures when i want just one to get the XP.
