Well there are a couple of million clicks for a few dozen countries, so the server being broken ain't that surprising. Don't worry, Australia was way behind anyway.

I couldn't stand to wade through 65 pages on my old machine, so I hope no one has yet posted a link to The Video Game Name Generator...

Text games!

Unread postby gryphonheart » 11 Apr 2007, 22:58

Okay, I'm giving it another shot - for those of you who look with nostalgia on the days of text games, and for those of you who've never played one, here's a link to some old favorites, including Hunt the Wumpus, Zork, etc. through a mysterious door called (drumroll) I-Fiction!

From Phil Proctor this week:

Which of these candidates would you elect?

1. He associates with crooked politicians, consults with an astrologist, has had two mistresses, chains smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

2. He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

3. He is a decorated war hero, a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

After you've made your decision, see the next post.
Before you criticize someone, first walk a mile in their shoes. If they get mad, you'll be a mile away. And you'll have their shoes.

Candidate #1 is Franklin D. Roosevelt, #2 is Winston Churchill and candidate #3 is -- Adolph Hitler.

Now that's just sick (but hilarious). My high was 723 ft in the 10 minutes I played.
