problems with campaining

ok, i haven't played heroes 5 in a while, so i had to jump from patch 1.1 to patch 1.4(just downloaded 1.4, not to mention, lots of mods from this site) and i'm really confused on 2 things:

1. whenever i try to start a new campaign mission, i click the mission (for example, "THe Ship", in campaign 2) and the box changes so that it says "standard mode, duel mode, and 3x3 mode." i have no idea what these modes are, but i wanna start my campaign, so i click on one of them. nothing happens. i try clicking on all 3 of them, but nothing still happens...

2. at the main menu, at the bottom left hand corner, it still says patch 1.1...

any help would be MUCH appreciated, and thx in advance

Welcome to the forums zhengman!

So you installed 1.4 and it still says 1.1...?

Perhaps it's the mods you're using (that, or the jump from 1.1 to 1.4...even though it's supposed to be possible).

You could try reinstalling the game and then patching from 1.0 straight to 1.4.

Those modes you mention are for multiplayer hotseat...(that is some strange stuff that's going on with your game

).

You were using a no-dvd patch or similar in 1.1? If so, that's the problem.
